Volunteering with Kilombero Valley Ornithological Center will provide you with all kinds of new and exciting opportunities. You will learn new skills, meet new people, explore some of the stunning areas we work in and experience something completely removed from your usual routine whilst making a valued contribution to the important work of the local communities.

 

Techniques include Butterfly canopy trapping, Butterfly sweep netting, Sherman trapping, Reptiless and Amphibians sweeps, pitfall trapping, large mammal line transect, Large mammals sand transect, birds counts, Mist Netting, Habitat structure survey, Carnivore stations and Conservation Education.
