SUMMARY: We seek a motivated Summer Field Research Assistant to work on coastal vegetation and conservation science projects at The Woods Hole Research Center. The successful candidate will assist in projects that assess the effects of grazing and land use history on the vegetation of the coastal region of southeastern Massachusetts, and the effectiveness of current conservation management practices in structuring vegetation and preserving biodiversity. The field sites will be located in the Cape & Islands, and the candidate would be expected to live in the Woods Hole region. Qualifications and Experience: The candidate should possess a BS degree, or significant course work and/or field experience in ecology or environmental science.
