Overview: World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Deputy Lead, Forest Goal based in Washington, DC.  This person supports the VP to implement and manage a portfolio of initiatives and develop new strategic initiatives in pursuit of the Forest Goal. Works cross-functionally to ensure the right resources and collaborations are brought to bear against this portfolio. A complement to the VP, the Deputy is a thought leader with internal and external profile and partnerships. The Deputy will also assist the VP in the supervision of core team staff and initiative leaders.  Also serves as point person for reporting, management, and operational matters within the goal area.
