Introduction: In line with a recent management decision by the WWF Atlantic Forests Steering Committee have agreed upon installing an Ecoregional coordinator to continue WWF’s leadership in this priority Ecoregion. The three implementing WWF offices are Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. The Steering Committee serve representatives of these three offices, plus donor representatives from the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, and United States. The regional coordination is based on the following principles/values: Strengthen the role of the countries as the main delivery mechanism Keep and consolidate a Atlantic Forests wide vision and strategy Keep promoting trans boundary work at all levels, sharing lessons learned and good practices Contribute to the delivery of the global goals
