The Australian Rivers Institute (ARI) is one of Australia's pre-eminent freshwater, catchment and coastal research enterprises, with over 150 staff and research higher degree students with expertise across a broad range of disciplines including aquatic ecology, ecological modelling, biogeochemistry, geomorphology, social sciences, economics and law.
