We are looking to recruit an assistant ecologist/ecologist to become a key member of our friendly, professional team. We are keen to see our staff progress in their consultancy careers and will give you the opportunity to do so by working on a range of interesting projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Carry out habitat (extended Phase 1) and protected species surveys (badger, bat, dormouse, GCN, otter, reptile, water vole).
  • Undertake background research and write ecological reports to a high standard.
  • Collect, manage and analyze field survey data.
  • Prepare fee proposals and manage contracts.
  • Liaise with clients.
  • Manage seasonal ecologists and sub-consultants.
