Reference: 5790 Job Type: 2 year fixed term contract Posted: 03 October 2022 Reporting to the Senior Veterinary Nurse, as a Veterinary Nurse you will ensure that all animals are cared for to the best standard, and support with carrying out our preventative health care strategies. You’ll work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 from 8am to 5pm on a rota. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:
  • Assisting the Veterinarian with the capture and restraint of animals, and clinical procedures including anaesthesia
  • Distributing and administering medications and maintaining records
  • Training staff and volunteers regarding zoonotic disease and biosecurity with the vet team
