Job Description:
The Elko District has hundreds of riparian, aspen, and special status plant exclosures scattered throughout its boundaries, most of which are in some state of disrepair. Impact by cattle and material weathering contribute to this degradation. Two Rangeland-Habitat Exclosure Monitoring Technicians will travel to designated exclosures and perform condition assessments, gathering data on structural integrity of exclosures and characterizing habitat.
