The Global Provide Food and Water team is developing and implementing strategies to protect and manage freshwater fisheries by working with indigenous people and local communities. The Freshwater Fisheries Conservation Scientist provides technical and programmatic support and leadership for freshwater fisheries programs and projects across The Nature Conservancy. They will report to the Director of Freshwater Community-Based Conservation and will work with staff in global, regional, and country-based programs to support freshwater community-based fisheries, aquatic biodiversity assessments, freshwater fisheries management, and monitoring and reporting.
