BUSINESS & ENVIRONMENT

The Business and Environment (BE) program is designed to train managers and analysts who will support organizations in implementing environmentally sustainable business practices. The program provides students with knowledge about 1) business organization, operations, and trends which influence business practice, 2) business strategic behavior and supply chain organization and 3) methods of analysis to support decision-making.

The program helps managers understand how businesses are connected to each other and to consumers through supply chains and how business behaviors have an impact on the environment. The program emphasizes strategic analysis and methods of influence by examining motivations for implementing environmental stewardship practices and mechanisms for communicating within organizations and to external stakeholders.
