The New School is at the forefront of advancing climate policy and environmental justice, thanks to our master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management. Around the world there are efforts to promote change by utilizing insights developed by communities, societies, and grassroots organizations with close relationships to the land and its ecologies. Our graduate students draw on these grassroots perspectives, indigenous knowledges, and community engagement to critically address social and ecological challenges impacting local and global populations.
