Students in this advanced degree program position themselves to not only understand the environment, but also to act on its behalf by influencing future policy. This thesis-oriented plan allows for the creation of an individualized program of study, as unique as the student’s interests, guided by an engaged research committee. The Master’s of Science (MS) in Environmental Sciences & Policy offers opportunities to build your research skills in interdisciplinary science and policy. In our Environmental Sciences and Policy emphasis, students engage in research related to a range of natural resources (such as air, water, and land) from integrated perspectives of natural sciences and environmental policy.
