The award winning MSc Primate Conservation, following the Lemurs and Nocturnal Primates pathway, allows students with a particular interest in prosimian primates and night monkeys to focus on their chosen topic within conservation, ecology, cognition, etc.. For decades, Oxford Brookes University has been a world leader in the study of lemurs and nocturnal primates, and this pathway allows students to take advantage of this expertise. The MSc allows students to choose modules relating to the challenges and research opportunities revolving around Lemurs and Nocturnal Primates, including a tailored module to meet the student’s interests. The innovative and varied coursework provides students with direct training to work in conservation or ecology as a practitioner, advocate or academic. The MSc allows individuals working with night monkeys, lemurs, lorises and tarsiers to gain a focus on this evolutionarily important and highly threatened group of primates by completing an original piece of research.
