The scientific name for seahorse is Hippocampus which is derived from “Horse Caterpillar”. Join this talk with Beccy Macdonald-Lofts from The Seahorse Trust to learn about the two different seahorse species that live in the coastal waters of Britain: the Spiny Seahorse (Hippocampus guttulatus) and the Short Snouted Seahorse (Hippocampus hippocampus).
