Our Rehabilitation Internship focuses on raising orphaned birds, avian wildlife nutrition, animal housing, physical therapy, capture and restraint, educating the public and safety techniques. We are looking for 3 hardworking, energetic, flexible, and fun interns for the fall of 2022. The intern’s main responsibilities will include assistance in avian rehabilitation, feeding, facility upkeep, cleaning, observing avian behavior, and handling. Training will be provided for all these areas. Interns are expected to work long hours.

Interns should have a strong interest in avian rehabilitation or environmental  education. We prefer candidates that are pursuing a degree in wildlife, captive wildlife, biology, environmental education or closely related field
