LPBF is seeking to contract a coastal fisheries biologist to assist in the execution and advancement of the LPBF’s Coast & Community Program. The typical daily work routines for this Coastal Scientist position are: (i) biological fish monitoring, (ii) water quality and fisheries analysis, (iii) estuarine research management, (iv) support of LPBF’s hydrocoast mapping such as aerial fleet surveys, (v) technical report writing, (vi) coastal data analysis, (vii) participation in coastal planning meetings; (vii) management of new and ongoing projects. This position reports to the Coast & Community Program Director – Dr. John Lopez.
