In this role, you will use your professional expertise and communication skills to advise on ecological planning matters, especially Biodiversity Net Gain. It will involve working at both a local and strategic level and you will be required to communicate with a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a background in ecology, ecological consultancy or planning. Ideally you will have a good understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain and habitat assessment using the commonly used habitats classification systems. You will also have a good understanding of managing and monitoring habitats and a broad understanding of priority species and their management requirements. The specific purpose of this position is:
