Friends of Nevada Wilderness is bringing on two AmeriCorps Springs Monitoring Technicians to support spring monitoring efforts throughout Southern Nevada in 2020-2021. The Technicians will sample spring water quality, assist in spring restoration, support outreach communication and activities, and conduct data entry. The Technician may have the opportunity to conduct more intensive surveying of riparian vegetation or engage in invertebrate/vertebrate identification, soil/rock type classification, in-depth water chemistry analysis, or other sampling tasks depending on skills and interests.
