Contingent on funding, NSEA will onboard two AmeriCorps Environmental Stewardship Associates who will work together to engage volunteers in all NSEA efforts including on-the-ground restoration through the Stream Stewards Program, maintaining NSEA’s onsite native plant nursery, and facilitating education, outreach, and stewardship events. These positions will oversee a team of volunteers to facilitate community work parties that provide the community with opportunities to restore salmon habitat across Whatcom County.
