Job Reference: AWIA-22 Salary: £24,859.99 pa + benefits to include 9% pension contribution Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week Duration: Fixed term to 30 June 2024 This interesting role will involve using desk based GIS processes, species data searches, historic research and on site botanical surveys to identify ancient woodland and update the existing inventory. This role will drive the delivery of a project to update the Ancient Woodland Inventory for South Yorkshire. This will include carrying out both desk-based and on site analysis of potential ancient woodland, regular reporting to regional partners and creating an advisory group of local experts to inform the work.
