The Ancient Woodland Inventory in England is an essential reference tool that identifies woods that have been present for centuries and are our most important woodlands for their rich wildlife and cultural heritage. The successful applicants will be leading on updating the Inventory across three counties. One officer will focus on Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, and the other on Cambridgeshire, working with The Wildlife Trust’s Monitoring and Research team.
