The Tropical Gallery Aquarist is responsible for the appearance and maintenance of all exhibits and support areas within the Tropical Gallery as well as providing coverage throughout other galleries as needed. This individual will also be responsible for providing proper husbandry for the diverse specimen collection (including fish, cephalopods, corals, and other invertebrates), and supporting the activities of Assistant Aquarists, Interns, and Volunteers. Additionally, s/he will assist in specimen acquisition, setting up and creating new exhibits and holding systems, and performing other related curatorial duties as necessary.
