We are looking for an enthusiastic Aquatic Ecologist to join our growing Environmental Services team. Ideally, we are seeking a Graduate or Scientist level Aquatic Ecologist to support and contribute to the aquatic team as well as the larger ecology team. You will have experience in freshwater (esp. electrofishing) and marine survey techniques, a broad knowledge and understanding of aquatic ecosystems, have good writing skills and work well in a team.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Tertiary or post graduate qualifications in a related field (Freshwater Ecology/Biology/Marine/Environmental Sciences)
  • Knowledge of Queensland aquatic/marine flora and fauna species, including skills in identification, handling, and management of threat
