This is a fulltime post, but negotiation on hours is possible by mutual agreement. The Lake District National Park is England’s largest World Heritage Site, inscribed due to its outstanding universal values of Identity, Inspiration and Conservation. We play significant roles in the management of visitors, leading on climate change measures and supporting our local business and land management communities. We are recruiting an Area Ranger to a permanent position based in our Western Ranger team. Area Rangers are key contacts with communities and partners in the national park. The Area Ranger will cover the Western Distinctive Area of the Lake District National Park and will be supporting our environmental land management delivery and will need experience of land management and na
