Five Rivers Environmental Contracting Ltd is a specialist environmental construction company with our head office located in Wiltshire. Five Rivers is an industry leader delivering projects across the UK. We specialise in the in-house design and delivery of civil/environmental projects with works including (but not limited to) ecological mitigation, civil engineering projects, clearance works, river restorations, river re-alignments, floodplain re-connections and fish passes.

The role will report to our Principal Ecologist, and you will form part of a small team carrying out a range of protected species survey and mitigation works.

Main Duties

Providing ecological advice to the wider project team
Providing ecological input to on site mitigation works
Documenting ecological compliance with client requirements
Acting as ecological clerk of works
Data collection, management and analysis
Writing/reviewing ecological reports and method statements
Managing sub-contractors

We a looking for the following personal & professional qualities:

1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
Protected species survey experience
An attention to detail and diligent approach to data management and quality assurance
Member of professional body or working towards (E.g. CIEEM)
A positive attitude, highly organised and motivated
Computer literate
Full driving licence
