POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Center for Conservation Biology at the University of California Riverside’s Palm Desert Center invites applicants for a full-time Professional Research position at the Assistant level in Desert Conservation Biology with an emphasis on Plant Ecology. The successful candidate will continue to develop and implement a wide variety of conservation biology programs and collaborative research for protected/rare organisms and habitats throughout the Colorado and Mojave Deserts of California. A valid Driver License is required. Candidates will also supervise several Specialists, staff serving based on the grant funds raised by the candidate. There is no teaching responsibility.
