We seek candidates with a demonstrated commitment to excellent undergraduate teaching that promotes inclusive and equity-minded learning environments. We are particularly interested in candidates whose teaching and research includes field ecological techniques, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and analysis of a wide range of biological data using current software tools such as R. Teaching responsibilities include courses in our core sequence for majors (e.g., Energy Flow in Biological Systems), introductory and upper-division courses in Ecology, Wildlife Management, and/or Conservation Biology, and introductory courses in our interdisciplinary Environmental Studies and Environmental Science programs.
