We seek a candidate who will expand the expertise of our department and integrate undergraduate and graduate education with cutting-edge research that serves the needs of the people of Hawaiʻi and the Pacific Island region. The successful candidate will have research expertise in stock assessment, decision science and/or risk analysis with a specific focus on policy analysis and management for coastal fisheries, which can be construed broadly to include targeted, invasive, and/or threatened fish populations and other environmental challenges of federal, state, and community resource managers.
