The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is a grassroots movement working for nature’s recovery and to bring people closer to nature. Our future has to be wilder! We are seeking an Assistant Reserves Officer (New Forest) to join our cause. This permanent role involves:
  • Working with the Forestry Manager, to deliver the annual work program in compliance with Stewardship agreements.
  • Forestry operations using chainsaws, tractors and associated mounted equipment, forwarder trailers, winches and swipes.
  • Grassland management using tractors and mounted equipment.
  • Provide effective supervision support and training for the various volunteer groups.
  • Develop the existing weekly team.
