This is a key role working as part of our professional team, assisting the Team Manager to ensure the highest standards of animal husbandry, welfare and exhibitory are maintained on the Carnivore section. A modern, progressive zoo offering opportunities to work with a great team responsible for one of Europe’s largest and most diverse carnivore collections. As  Assistant Team Manager – Carnivores you will:
  • Support the team in the absence of the Team Manager.
  • Lead by example in maintaining the highest standards of animal husbandry, welfare and exhibitory.
  • Manage interns ,working alongside Keepers to undertake the daily animal care duties, focusing on husbandry, welfare and exhibitory
  • Show willingness to share knowledge and ideas
