The Wildlife Rehabilitator Assistant works to assist, perform, and supervise all aspects of the rehabilitation process.  Working in tandem with our wildlife rehabilitation managers, this position will also assist with domestic animal care during the winter months when wildlife admission numbers are lower.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Performs initial intake exam for all wildlife species coming into Anderson Humane, devises a treatment and care plan, triages and perform euthanasia in accourdance to Anderson’s wildlife euthanasia protocol.
  • Obtains and maintains a Certified Euthansia Technician license for the duration of employment
  • Obtains and maintains a Certified Wildlife Rehabilitation license granted from IWRC
