| Summary Description | The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University invites applications for an Associate Research Scientist position in the Climate Data Science Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Ryan Abernathey.
The Associate Research Scientist will support Principal Investigator to conceive, design, develop and execute research in fields including mesoscale physical oceanography, ocean circulation, air-sea interaction, and ocean ecosystems. Day to day oversight of one or more scientific projects. Functions independently and exercises a high level of independent research effort and expertise in conduct of normal duties.
