Position Summary The Seasonal Warden will be responsible for patrolling the colonial wading bird and beach-nesting bird colonies in Hillsborough Bay and interacting with the boating and recreating public to prevent disturbance to nesting birds.  This is a part-time, seasonal position that requires the employee to work weekends and holidays when traffic around the nesting islands is at its peak. Essential Functions Monitor birds, helping to conduct counts of nesting pelicans, oystercatchers, herons, etc. and monitor the colonies for other signs of disturbance.
