Western Rivers Action Network (Audubon Arizona)   No issue defines Arizona’s past and its future more than water. Today’s colliding issues creating water challenges include a growing population, decreasing available water supplies, a changing climate, and at-risk freshwater habitats for birds and wildlife. Well-organized, effective, and non-traditional voices are needed in the water policy arena to support creative solutions to protect waterways and habitat while meeting the water needs of people.   Audubon’s Western Rivers Action Network (WRAN), nearly ten years old, has been successful in being that supportive voice with partners. However, WRAN is in need of a strategic upgrade in order to build awareness of the economic impact that maintaining water in rivers
