The College is seeking to appoint an Animal Management Centre Technician: Zoo to contribute to the College’s zoo licensed and BIAZA accredited Animal Management Centre. You will be responsible for the day-to-day care and husbandry of the animals housed on the zoo section of the AMC. The section consists of a zoo courtyard, nocturnal room and native species areas which house a diverse range of birds and mammals. Species under your care include primates, otter, wildcat, raccoon and meerkat amongst others. The key responsibilities of the role are developing and maintaining high standards of husbandry and animal welfare as well as the direct supervision of students during their practical sessions.
