The Greenland Climate Research Centre (GCRC), a part of the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR), is seeking a benthic ecologist for a permanent position to lead an ongoing nation-wide offshore benthic monitoring program and develop key areas of research on the dynamics of marine zoobenthos in Greenland waters. The successful candidate will work as a principal investigator and join an international group of active scientists conducting extensive research on marine ecology and oceanography aimed at understanding the ecological responses to natural variability (in time and space) and human influence in the Arctic and sustaining policy development for conservation and management.   Key aspects of the position The jobholder shall
