We are recruiting for a qualified scientist to work as a benthic invertebrate researcher on a federal contract we are bidding. This position is full-time, based in Seattle, WA, and will start in May 2021. Our ideal job candidate will be experienced in identifying benthic invertebrates, self-motivated with strong analytical skills, resourceful, organized, adept at creative problem-solving, and a team player who excels in a dynamic environment.

Duties:

  • Conduct image analysis (annotation) for underwater stereo video or still images collected during the 2021‐2023 fieldwork in the Gulf of Alaska, Aleutian Islands, Eastern Bering Sea and archived images (as time allows) collected from past dives.
