We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Reserves Officer to join our team in implementing all aspects of habitat and estate management across our Berkshire nature reserves. The successful applicant will have practical estate management experience, to ideally include felling and chainsaw use with relevant certification, and should enjoy working with and leading conservation volunteers. The diversity of the role will appeal to those wishing to develop their skills in supporting volunteers and trainees, task planning, working with livestock, species identification and surveying. The area covers a variety of habitats, including lowland heath, reedbed, fen, species-rich hay meadow, broadleaved woodland, calcareous grassland and farmland.
