As a partnership between Lancashire Wildlife Trust and Wigan Council, we are now recruiting an exciting position to take forward the transformation of one of Wigan’s former collieries into a sustainable, high quality and much valued local resource, with focus on an innovative and creative programme of community engagement and events. The successful applicant will be involved in the practical regeneration of the site, as well as promotion and fundraising.  They will also recruit and lead volunteers on the project, and plan and deliver a programme of high quality community engagement activities.
