Summer/Fall positions available. If you have a love for the ocean and a passion for youth, this opportunity is for you! Teach marine science to students in grades 4-12 on Catalina Island, an ecological gem off the coast of California. 88% of Catalina's 75 square miles are protected against development. In this setting we conduct hands on learning at its best, using our fine indoor laboratories and our beautiful outdoor coastal learning areas. Our program is mentally and physically challenging, and we expect much of our instructors. They teach snorkeling, marine labs, kayaking, hiking and various evening programs. Piloting small vessels is part of their duties. Compensation: Paid training, room and board, competitive hourly wages, and health benefits after 60 days of service
