West Yorkshire Ecology is seeking two full-time Biodiversity Crisis Habitat Surveyors to work in the field in Calderdale. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake broad area habitat surveys to UKHab standard in the upper valleys of the River Calder. Additional species information will be collected largely as botanical target notes, survey coverage and target areas for follow-up specialist detailed surveys. The results will be used to feed into Biodiversity Crisis action planning and the Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
