Job Description:
The Great Basin Institute, in cooperation with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service’s Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), is recruiting two Biological Technicians. These positions will be involved in habitat improvement with a focus on mapping vegetation and treating invasive species. Three invasive species, common carp (Cyprinus carpio), curlyleaf pondweed (Potamogeton crispus), and common reed (Phragmites australis), are present in many of the semipermanently flooded wetland units in varying abundance.
