The Ecosystems Management Branch in the Newfoundland and Labrador Region works to protect, enhance and restore the biodiversity and health of marine and freshwater environments through an integrated ecosystem approach that supports the sustainable use of aquatic resources. The Ecosystems Management Branch includes the following programs:
  • Fish and Fish Habitat Protection Program
  • Species at Risk Program
  • Aquatic Invasive Species Program
  •  Marine Planning and Conservation Program
  • Aquaculture Management Program
