Summary Job Description The Fisheries Programme Coordinator will work as part of the fisheries and “Fisheries Improvement Projects” teams, with support from the SW Regional Manager, the National Fisheries Programme Lead and the Global Fisheries Improvement Lead. He/she will lead the successful implementation and development of BV fisheries strategy and Fisheries Improvement Project model in the South West. He/she will provide guidance on optimised fisheries monitoring, management and general marine science and research. This will specifically include supporting a regional FIP for octopus, improving and facilitating the management of temporal octopus closures and/or other innovative fishery management measures, as well as expanding multi-species fisheries monitoring to support w
