We are looking for a botanist to join our team in South Wales. You will be able to carry out a range of habitat related work focused on Preliminary Ecological Appraisal / extended Phase 1 habitat surveys. The ability to carry out specialist surveys and such as National Vegetation Classification surveys (NVC) and hedgerow surveys is desirable.
Essential Requirements
  • Good botanical identification skills to equivalent of FISC level 3, 4 or 5;
  • An appropriate ecological degree qualification, ideally with emphasis on botany;
  • Experience of employment in consultancy or other relevant work (e.g. Records Centre, Statutory Agency or Wildlife Trust etc);
  • Proficient in extended Phase 1 habitat surveys and mapping; and
