Description
The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is looking for a Laboratory Manager to manage the day-to-day operation of the Bonner Laboratory complex at Rothera Research Station. This role involves the co-ordination of science requirements and ensuring compliance with BAS Laboratory Code of Practice, Health & Safety and Environmental policies,
Purpose
To manage the day-to-day operation of the Bonner Laboratory complex at Rothera Research
Station and maintain laboratory facilities.
To manage Health and Safety in the Laboratory environment and promote safe working
practices with in the Bonner Laboratory and the Dutch Gerritsz Facility.
To liaise with UK and collaborating scientists to coordinate and facilitate science projects
carried out at or from Rothera Research Station.
