The NFJDWC is hiring three monitoring technicians to conduct monitoring activities for bull trout and other fish species of concern during the 2023 field season. These positions will work closely with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Spring’s John Day Basin Watershed Restoration Program located in John Day, Oregon. Selected candidates will perform electrofishing surveys in the Middle and North Fork John Day Rivers. This position requires the ability to work independently in remote locations, multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and the desire/ability to engage in physically challenging field work.
