As part of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust’s ‘Saving the Great Yellow Bumblebee’ project, we require a specialist fieldworker to carry out targeted surveys for the Great Yellow bumblebee (Bombus distinguendus) in the Outer Hebrides. The Contractor will also collect basic habitat information and report on the suitability of the sites for this species. The Contractor is required for 70 days (can be flexible) during the period from week commencing 01 June 2020 to 30 September 2020 (or 15 October at the latest). This includes time for data entry and write-up of a survey report. The contractor will need to be based in the Outer Hebrides during this time.
