The position is located at Byron Walker Wildlife Area. The position could range from 2.5 to 6 months (999 hrs max). This will be a winter position.

Responsibilities will include participating in many aspects of wildlife, habitat, and facility management on the 4,685-acre Byron Walker Wildlife Area and Kingman State Fishing Lake. The incumbent will work on girdling and treating invasive tree species(chainsaw), mowing and disking fire breaks, supporting construction in the NAWCA grant marsh project, maintaining wetland water-control structures, tree removal, prescribed burning, and equipment maintenance.
