The Transaction Director manages conservation easement transactions by negotiating and completing the complex real estate transactions which preserve rangelands. The Transaction Director develops and implements conservation strategies for CRT’s acquisition of conservation easements on ranch properties that have been identified by CRT’s Board of Directors as priority projects. The Transaction Director works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Stewardship Manager, and with other project-based consultants and legal counsel to complete transactions. The Transaction Director has no authority to legally bind CRT without express specific authority granted by the Board of Directors.
